Sexual Harassment Prevention

Sexual harassment is not only harmful, it's costly.  How can you prevent or eliminate sexual harassment in your workplace? The answer is education, not litigation.

BNKJ is pleased to invite you to our Tuesday, September 28 Lunch and Learn on Sexual Harassment Prevention from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  In an age when every employer needs to take steps to prevent sexual harassment before it happens, this complimentary session is a must.

Thanks to highly publicized lawsuits and settlements, sexual harassment has become a really hot topic. Yet most people are still confused about the difference between acceptable behavior and harassment. Is flirting okay? Casual hugs? A dinner invitation?  The problem is that there are no hard and fast answers to these questions. Cases of sexual harassment are as unique as the individuals involved. What one person labels harassment another may consider acceptable behavior. This subjective element is the source of much of the confusion surrounding sexual harassment.

Fortunately, our special guests from the labor law firm of Constangy Brooks & Smith will be on hand to explain the facts that can help you understand this important issue and inform your workplace choices.
